Ruth "Evelyn" Bragg of Arvonia went to be with the Lord and her husband, Early Melton Bragg, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.  She was born on February 4, 1931 in Dickenson County, Virginia.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Sam J. and Ruth M. Skeen; her sister, Bernice Skeen; and brother, Henry Skeen.

She is survived by her three sons, Richard Alan Bragg (Kris), Kenneth Raymond Bragg (Becky), and Donald Wayne Bragg (Patsy); her sister, Judy Skeen; six grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Jessica, Nicholas, Jennifer, and Erin, and five great-grandchildren.

Evelyn loved reading, crocheting, bird watching, flowers and her many pets, especially the goats.  She enjoyed the Bible Studies and was a long-time member of the Arvonia Welcome Wesleyan Church, New Canton, Virginia.

The family will received friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Arvonia Welcome Weslyan Church with a funeral service to follow.  Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
