A husband, a father, a grandfather and hero,
This you were and forever will be.
So much, so often is what you gave,
Lovingly guiding us along the way.
We have many tears and very heavy hearts
Our worlds have simply been torn apart.
We are missing a link in our family chain
And nothing will ever be the same.
We whispered our goodbyes, softly in your ear,
Thanking God for every moment, because you were so dear.
So as God calls each of us home, in that sweet bye and bye,
We'll see each other there, and the chain will link again.
Lovingly,
Your family
