Mary Frances Greene of Palmyra, Virginia died on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the UVA Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Avis Palmer and Harry Scott of Bremo Bluff, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Cornell Greene, granddaughter Shontai Bowles and her sister Marilyn Palmer.

Memories of Mary will be cherished by her two children, Malesa Palmer of New Canton, Virginia and Brad Palmer of Palmyra, Virginia. Two grandchildren Jasmine Bowles and Damian Palmer of New Canton, Virginia. One great grandchild Kaydin Palmer of New Canton, Virginia. One sister Celestine Christopher (Charles) of Bremo Bluff, Virginia. One brother Michael Palmer of Palmyra, Virginia. And a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The Family will be having a celebration of Life on March 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., at the home of Malesa Palmer at 324 Equestrian Trail Road, New Canton, Virginia 23123
