During the early morning hours on Thursday, October 24, 2019, our beloved sister, Ms. Louise C. Scott went home to be with the Lord.

She was born on February 24, 1925 (94 years old), to the late Mr. Henry Harris and Mrs. Lula Ross Harris of Columbia, VA.

She confessed to Christ to be her personal savior at an early age and joined Columbia Baptist Church.  Later on in life she moved to Washington D. C.; after 30 years, she came back home to Virginia.  She then moved her fellowship to Union Baptist Church located in Scottsville, VA. There she continued to serve her Savior, until her health began to fail; she loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by nine brothers, Howard, Walter, Vivian, Henry, Robert, Winston, Frank, Percy, and George Harris and four sisters, Kate Jackson, Elizabeth Archer, Rosa Harris and Christine Franklin.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  two devoted nephews, George Vest Harris and John Harris; one sister-in law, Corrine Harris of Richmond, VA; devoted friends, Ernest Jackson, Elsie Taylor and Barbara Parrish; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
