Henry Elliott Brown, Jr., 93,(Buck) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2016 surrounded by his family. He served as Charter Member of London Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, was a member of Scott Memorial Methodist Church, and was a private contractor for 31 years. He moved to Palmyra, VA and worked for 8 years then retired from the Fluvanna County School System at age 65.

He is preceded in death by one sister and four brothers (Madeline Wiggins, Kenneth, John Sr., Mickey, & Billy Brown).

He is survived by his adoring wife of 68 years, Shirley Whitehurst Brown, his son Walter (Skip) Brown and his two daughters: Karen McGuire & Debra Teets. Four grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and two sisters Ruth Saunders and Betty Johnson and one brother James Brown.

A memorial service will be held at noon Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at D. D. Watson Chapel 4002 James Madison Highway, Fork Union,VA 23055.

A graveside service will be held at noon Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Rosewood Memorial Park 631 N. Witchduck Road Virginia Beach, VA 23462.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the
UVA Fund/UVA Children's Heart Family Fund/in memory of JR Harvey.
