God has not promised skies always blue, sun without rain, peace without sorrow, joy without pain. God has promised rest for the weary,
and on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at her home, He closed the eyelids of
Gloria D. Tindall,
of New Canton, Virginia, and whispered peace be
thine.
Gloria D. Tindall was born February 26, 1957, in Charlottesville, Virginia, the daughter of Annie and James Earl Anderson, Sr. She accepted Christ as her Savior and was born again January 10, 1982, in Arvonia, Virginia, at the New Testament Baptist Church, under the ministry of Pastor Tim Perdue.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband of 48 years, Nelson Tindall Sr.; two sons, Timothy Tindall (Michelle) of Chesterfield, Virginia, and Nelson Tindall Jr. of Richmond, Virginia; four sisters, Sandra Toney (Raymond deceased) of Dillwyn, Virginia, Teresa Chambers (Fred) of Standardville, Virginia, Cynthia Anderson of Arvonia, Virginia, Phyllis (Raymond) of Maryland; one brother, James Anderson Jr. (Barbara) of Arvonia, Virginia; stepmother, Mary Washington Anderson of Arvonia, Virginia; one great-grandchild, six grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends. Gloria is also survived by four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
To the Tindall family, we at D. D. Watson offer our most sincere sympathy and condolences. Our prayer continues to be that your abiding faith in God will lend to you a measure of comfort that will strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.
