Palmyra - Emma Moment , A Life of Faith and Love.

Emma Moment passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith.

Emma's giving spirit touched countless lives. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Robert Moment Sr., a loving mother to her two sons, Robert Jr. and William, and a cherished mother figure to her niece, Melissa Palmer (Steve and Brian). Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ella Franklin; her sister, Lutrell, and brothers, Leroy, Ralph and Warren.

She was born in Fluvanna County and a very devoted member of Evergreen Baptist Church and gave her life to Christ at an early age. Emma attended local schools and later dedicated many years of service to the Fluvanna County school system.

Emma's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a devout Christian, finding solace and strength in her relationship with God. Three scriptures that held special meaning to her were:

*   "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud." - 1 Corinthians 13:4

*   "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

*   "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28

Although we mourn Emma's loss, we celebrate her extraordinary life. Her family, friends will forever cherish her memory, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
