Cameron LeMann Roberts , 27, of Palmyra, Virginia, departed this life on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at his residence. He was born on February 29, 1996, to James Nathaniel Washington, Sr and Evangelist Cindy Roberts Washington.

Cameron was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, Gordonsville Virginia then later began fellowshipping with the Spirit of Praise Ministries, Richmond Virginia. As a child he could and would quote scriptures, and loved God with his whole being. He was employed by Lineage LLC, where he was a forklift driver. Cameron started working at the age of 14, always stayed employed, and had a strong and amazing work ethic.  He was very smart, intelligent, charismatic, knew it all, loving, caring, well-mannered, and known for being "well put together".

Cameron was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Bernard L. and Elsie V. Roberts, paternal grandparents James N. Washington, Sr. and Alice Cook, maternal great grandparents, Thomas and Nancy Washington, brother Daryl Washington, loving aunt and godparents, Wallace and Kathleen Johnson, godfather Uncle Calvin Washington, two uncles Derwin Roberts and Shafike Washington, two great uncles Ralph Washington and Thomas George Washington, two aunts; Barbie Washington and Vernita Washington, three great aunts; Mary Christmas, Rev. Betty Jane Creasy, Annette Jean Christmas, and nephew Deangelo Washington.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his father James Nathaniel Washington, Sr and Evangelist Cindy Roberts Washington, second mother/aunt Bonnie Roberts, god parents; uncle Anson and aunt Cassandra Thomas, aunt Barbara James; brothers Antonio Washington (Crista), Deangelo Small, Gerrod Brown, and Sean Dill; sisters Chelsey Roberts (Dip), Aquanus Washington, Disheka Crook, Jamelia Washington, and Nyadria Henderson; one nephew Kaine; nieces Zahra, Amari, China, and Ohona amongst other numerous nieces and nephews; three uncles; James Washington (Diane), Roger Washington (Karen), Thomas Washington (Bertha), Derrick Roberts; special friends; Pumpkin, Millz, Flock, Ted, Lean, Kelz, Bigs, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Anthony Hunter on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM  at Fork Union Baptist Church, 4745 James Madison Highway, Fork Union, Virginia 23055.  Interment will follow in the Washington Family Cemetery, 1245 Oliver Creek Road, Troy, Virginia  22974.
