Allen Steven Mitchell was morn on May 28, 1955 to David Elijah Mitchell and Virginia Bell Mitchell in White Plains, New York, and was raised in Elmsford, New York with his younger brothers Ronald and Kevin.

Steve graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School, after graduation Steve attended Pensacola College on a full track scholarship. Upon returning home from school Steve changed his career path and decided to enroll in a trade school to obtain his certification as a Plumber and HVAC Technician.

Steve will forever be remembered by his adoring mother Virginia Bell Joseph, wife and bestfriend Sharyon Mitchell, his beloved children Steven, Sharyon and Sha-Nette, his grandson Kemar, his brothers Ronald and Kevin, his sister-in-law Angela, his brother-in-law Andre, his nieces Ayana, Keisha, Lisa, Kayla, Tiffany and Jennifer his nephews Chris, Jerome, Cayden and Shawn, III.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at The Sun Chapel at D. D. Watson Mortician, Inc., Fork Union.
